GLORIOUS REDEMPTION CHRISTIAN CENTRE:
A TESTAMENT OF DIVINE CALL AND MINISTRY
- In obedience to the divine calling and unwavering faith in the redemptive work of Christ, Glorious Redemption Christian Centre, also known as The House of His Glory, was established. Rooted in the profound scriptures of Hebrews 5:4 and Galatians 1:15, which emphasize the divine appointment to ministry, this institution stands as a testament to the spiritual journey and steadfast conviction of its founder.
- The vision for this ministry, elucidated through compelling encounters with the Almighty, came to light during the early stages of the founder’s faith journey. With a clear understanding of the Apostle’s calling as outlined in Ephesians 4:11, the founder embraced the charge to preach the gospel, not adorned with worldly wisdom, but with the simplicity of the cross of Christ.
- This divine calling was underscored by a series of significant events. In 1997, a divine message resonated, indicating the bestowal of the ministry’s purpose. Subsequently, in 1998, a vision urged the founder to ‘Arise and go to TROAS’, symbolizing the call to embark on a sacred mission. Amidst these revelations, the founder exhibited unwavering faith and patience. Ordained and pastored at Dominion Life Church under the mentorship of Pastor Bode Amoo, the founder received training and spiritual nurturing, aligning with God’s greater plan.
- However, divine conviction led to a pivotal moment in 1998 when the founder, after prayerful deliberation and guidance, resigned from the pastoral role at Dominion Life Church. This courageous decision marked the beginning of an independent ministry journey.
- Upon relocation to Lagos and subsequent to a significant personal event – the wedding in 2004, the divine directive to establish a ministry in the heart of Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, was received. Responding to this divine instruction, the founder, with unwavering faith, established the Church arm of the ministry in September 2007, under the banner of HOUSE OF HIS GLORY: GLORIOUS REDEMPTION CHRISTIAN CENTRE.
- From its humble beginnings as fellowship and prayer meetings in Ilorin, Kwara State, in the late 1990s, to its establishment as a thriving Church in Abuja, this ministry stands as a testament to faith, obedience, and the power of divine purpose. It echoes the scripture from 1 Corinthians 1:17-29, emphasizing the wisdom of God, surpassing human understanding, and choosing the humble to confound the wise.
