Our Structure

GRCC SERVICE UNITS:

  1. THE PREVAILERS (Prayer force): The intercessory department of the church whose mission is to birth the multitudes into the church and kingdom, keeping on the prayer line until every soul appointed to this commission is delivered to us. They travail to prevail-Isaiah 62:6-7, 66:7-9, Psalm 2:8
  2. THE HARVESTERS (Evangelism Team): This is the reapers department of the church. They are to be involved in evangelism and special outreaches in various locations like hospitals, prisons, market places and neighbourhood evangelism-Isaiah 57:7-8, Mathew 9:37-38, Joel 3:13-14
  3. THE PROCLAIMERS (Publication and Advertising Squad/Team): Their mission is to saturate wherever the church is located and their environs with materials advertising the acts of God in this commission and eventually draw the multitudes to the church-Psalm 68:11, John 1:45-46

This department is split into two (2) groups each overseen by a coordinating personnel:

  1. PUBLICITY AND PUBLICATION SQUAD/TEAM

Their mission is to saturate wherever the church is located and their environs with materials advertising the acts of God in this commission and eventually draw the multitudes to the church-Psalm 68:11, John 1:45-46

  1. SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM:
  2. USHERING TEAM (Glorious Ushers): The Ushering department is the service and help arms of the church/ministry. In that we seek to facilitate the creation of an atmosphere conducive for spiritual activities by catering for the various needs of congregants, while also preserving and maintaining order within the church- Psalm 84:10, Mark 9:35

An usher is a door keeper, they show and lead people to their seats, they watch and take care of the church in order to make it conducive for worship.

This department is split into three (3) groups each overseen by a coordinating usher:

  1. Sanctuary Keepers: Whose mission is to ensure cleanliness and arrangement of materials within the church premises
  2. Sales & Marketing team: They are to be involved in marketing and sales of literatures, CD’s , VCD’s and other useful materials
  3. Stewards (Door keeper): Whose duty is to welcome, show and lead people to their seat. They watch and take care of the church in order to make it conducive for worship. They are to attend to people’s need and run errand on urgent information. They are also to collect tithes and offerings during services and program and remit to the appropriate quarters
  4. DECORATION TEAM (Temple beautifiers): A team of gifted and talented men and women in artistic, craft and decoration. They are to be involved in beautifying the church in a visual form. They are also to be involved in altar decoration, interior and exterior decoration with artistic works and materials

This is aimed at showing forth the beauty of our God in His sanctuary with physical things that can be seen-Exo.35:31-35, Psalm 50:2

  • GLORIOUS VOICES: A team of glorious singers whose mission is to praise God in the beauty of His holiness. They are to lead the congregation, the church in the same act of worship. They are to be in charge of worship, praise and ministration in songs in all services and programs-Isaiah 30:30
  • ENGINEERING CREW: A team of engineers. They are to be involved in installations and maintenance of electrical, electronics gadgets and devices. They are to be in charge of all instruments and equipment used by the church/ministry. That is, arranging and organizing all needed instruments for all services and program before and after every service and program
  • THE AMBASSADORS (Visitation unit):  The Ambassadorial team of the church. They are the church/ministry ambassadors. They represent God and the church and therefore speaks for God and the church

It is a group designed and aimed at providing good reception to first timers and new converts in all services and programs. They are to welcome and receive first timers and new converts in all service s ensuring that they are well cater for and their needs both physical and spiritual are attended to by them. A formal day of visitation is to be arranged with the worshiper/visitor so as to establish fellowship, relationship, and cordiality with them. It is also aimed at providing counsel to intending members after their first worship service with the church

They are the church ambassadors and therefore should portray a good image and character of the church before people as they come to worship-II Cor.3:2, 5:20, 6:3-10, 1:11

  • SECURITYDEPARTMRNT:
  • PROTOCOL, HOSPITALITY& LOGISTICS DEPARTRMRNT:
  • COUNSELLING AND CORRECTIONAL DEPARTMENT:
  • TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT:

This department organizes or delivers transportation for church programs and other events/activities within and outside the church

  1. TRAFFIC CONTROL DEPARTMENT:

This department helps to control traffic around the church and assist in the orderly parking of cars and vehicles. It also enforces security in the church and on the parking during church programs

  1.  MULTIMEDIA TEAM/DEPARTMENT:
    • Responsible for the packaging of church events and programmes on audio-visual materials.
    • Ensures that all the materials needed are sourced and used judiciously
    • Works with the technical department of the church in moving materials and human resources towards producing good broadcast quality materials.

Members of this unit comprise of skilled and trained media personnel who are responsible for our graphics, T.V outreach programs, film editing and all forms of electronic and print media. They serve God in the furtherance of the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ through publication of the revelation of the Word of God.

The primary responsibility of the department is designing church programme posters and updating church website (members of this team support the pastorate in their duty to ensure that people who seek to know about the ministry can easily access this information via the internet). They are also responsible for arranging for photo/ video coverage of church programmes (in collaboration with the technical unit) Maintaining the church gallery page, which is intended to be a repository of important church event pictures.

They work in collaboration with other departments within the church to ensure that the website and church publications are up to date and have the relevant information that will be of help to the public.

  1. TECHNICAL UNIT

Technical department of the church is responsible for maintenance of technical equipment and media coverage of the church.

Duties of the department include:

  1. Maintaining and setting up musical instruments, audio and visual equipment in the church for the service and other outreach programs.
  2. Recording messages of every services and special programmes and produce (or reproduce) CD and DVD.
  3. Creating/updating and publishing media information of the church.
  4. Setting up and maintaining IT and networking equipment in church.
  5. Manage the website of the church
  6. Manage the social media of the church namely face book, twitter( in pipeline)
  7. Run inspirational messages in Metro Newspaper every Friday on behalf of the church
  8. Responsible for the print and electronic adverts of the church
  9. Promote love by sponsoring birthday cake for celebrants in the church every month
  10. Responsible for the printing of church bulletin and flyers
  11. Organize dinner to formally welcome new comers to the church

SUB-DEPARTMENTS:

a. Media

i. Responsible for the packaging of church events and programs on audio-visual materials.

ii. Ensures that all the materials needed are sourced and used judiciously

ii. Works with the technical department of the church in moving materials and human resources towards producing good broadcast quality materials.

b. Advertising:

i. Ensures that the church gets a fair deal in terms of placing the church programs on air – Radio/TV

ii. Funds or seek sponsors to fund media activities in terms of buying air time and placing adverts in the papers.

  1. Publicity (Public Relations):
    • Ensures that the church programs get media (radio, television, papers, or societal media) exposure.
    • Manages the image of the church in the media via TV/Radio appearances by the church functionaries.
    • Ensures that all the time, the church is in good side of the public by posting and maintaining the church website
    • Responsible for the production of all publications. Consists of writers, editors and designers who volunteer their talents across a range of roles and responsibilities
  1. TECHNICAL AND ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT:

A team of Engineers. They are to be involved in installations and maintenance of electrical, electronic gadgets and devices. They are to be in charge of all instruments and equipment’s used by the church/ministry. That is, arranging and organizing all needed instruments for all services and programs before and after every service and program

Delivers engineering and multimedia services and support to every part of the church. This department maintains all electrical, electronic and communication equipment (musical instruments, microphones, cameras, etc.) and ensures that the equipment are functioning well and stable at all times. It also records and release CD’s and DVD’s of programs

The Technical department of the Kings’ Vine is charged with the task of managing the electronics, the sound systems, recording, lighting’s and other electrical work in the church.

  1. Maintaining and setting up musical instruments, audio and visual equipment in the church for the service and other outreach programs.
  2. Recording messages of every services and special programmes and produce (or reproduce) CD and DVD. (Audio visual & sound)
  3. Creating/updating and publishing media information of the church.
  4. Setting up and maintaining IT and networking equipment in church.
  5. Installation and testing of equipment.
  6. Handling of church electrical work.
  7. Stage management.
  8. Maintenance of equipments

16.THEAMBASSADORS(Visitation unit): 

The Ambassadorial team of the church. They are the church/ministry ambassadors. They represent God and the church and therefore speaks for God and the church

They are to have a separate service outside the adult service and programme especially on Sunday morning service. They are to be led/organize by a team of teachers that are gifted and called into children ministry

CARE SERVICE/UNIT:

  1. PASTORAL CARE SERVICE/UNIT: It is a means to ensure that in addition to what is offered on the pulpit the individual spiritual needs of the members of the congregation are given appropriate attention

A pastor or teams of pastors are to meet such people after the Sunday morning service or a fix time to be arranged for ministration

  • REDEMPTION CARE SCHEME: A special welfare package that is specially set up to meet the essential needs of the church members, other Christian and non-believers.

The scheme covers areas like food, clothing, housing, and other important needs-Acts 4:34-37, 6:1-3

  • REDEMPTION SATELLITE FELLOWSHIP (Home church): This is a care scheme and forum where the individual needs of members of the church are handled in a smaller unit. Every member of the church is to belong to a unit to enhance oneness and unity of purpose

Every satellite fellowship unit is to be coordinated by a unit leader/minister in spiritual, material and financial matters

It is aimed at making sure that the individual needs of the congregation are well taken care of-Acts 2:46
